Noah Sheldon
began his piano career at a young age in in Tacoma, Washington. He graduated from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, where he studied music with a concentration on Piano Performance.
Noah has had the privilege of playing in masterclasses conducted by such pianists as George Li, Drew Petersen, and Cahill Smith. In his final year at Covenant, Noah was chosen to perform with the school’s orchestra in its own concerto competition concert, and they played the first movement of Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G. In addition, he has accompanied numerous choral pieces and several soloists. Noah has always had a fondness for Mendelssohn, Brahms, and Rachmaninoff, but in his last few years as a growing musician, he came to love the music of Ravel, any of which he can often be found playing at the piano, or else sight-reading something new.
